The Concert for The Cure

A few words about Concert for the Cure, including details of the event. Our logo is Santa Mamba's logo superimposed over a pink ribbon. Santa Mamba is a latin roots rock band from Providence that is getting quite a lot of notoriety during 2010. The music is infectious and you can't help but want to move and dance. A Providence newpaper called it "ass-shaking latin rock" this summer. We thought doing a fund raiser for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer with the band would be fun and different. The band offered to play the show for no cost, and the HiHat at Davol Square in Providence is offering their venue for the cause.

The event is Sunday afternoon, October 3, 2010, at the HiHat at 3 Davol Square in Providence - plenty of parking. Doors open at 3 and the band will go on sometime around 4 or 4:30. We will have some raffles, special merchandise, time to meet and greet the band and just to be together for a great cause. We are trying to encourage ticket sales ahead of time, so tickets are $20 ahead of time, and $25 at the door.
